A K-12 speech-language pathologist position is available to provide teletherapy services for students within multiple schools. The role involves delivering comprehensive speech and language support to a caseload of approximately 50 to 60 students. The assignment spans the current school year through May 22, 2026, operating under a contract arrangement.
Location:
- Remote teletherapy services supporting schools in the Prattville, AL area
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Assess, diagnose, and implement speech and language intervention plans for K-12 students
- Collaborate with educational staff to monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Adhere to state licensure requirements and professional standards for speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure; applications from Speech-Language Pathology Assistants will not be considered
- Experience in delivering teletherapy (VOCO) speech-language services in a school setting preferred
- Knowledge of K-12 speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to manage a caseload ranging between 50 and 60 students effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills suitable for remote service delivery
Schedule:
- Part-time to full-time hours, approximately 37.5 hours per week
